  1. ANSI Mouse version 0.6b5

  4. This update release fixes a number of bugs in version 0.5b1 and
  5. addresses a number of the major complaints received about that 
  6. version.  This is primarily a bug fix release.
  7.  
  8. The export engine gives more optimized output now.  I cleaned 
  9. some things up so that you should get a faster display and
  10. more true color representations.
  11.  
  12. Support has been added for 'bmap's.  If you have a 'bmap' on the
  13. clipboard, ANSI Mouse will allow you to paste it into the
  14. background text if in Text mode, or into a script if in Recorder
  15. mode.  Remember that if you paste a bitmap into a script you have
  16. to reposition the cursor afterwards.

  18. The easiest way I've found to obtain a 'bmap' on the clipboard is 
  19. to use Ben Lai's Clipboard Magician 0.64 (available everywhere)
  20. to convert a PICT to 'bmap'.  You can then just paste this 'bmap'
  21. right into ANSI Mouse.

  23. Version 0.7 is in the works.  It will include some storage
  24. optimizations for general data and scripts and some new features.
  25. I hope to be able to implement block-to-script conversion effects,
  26. large character sets, increased paste-in graphics support (PICT's,
  27. color PICT's, etc.), and more animation options.
